Genshin Impact 6.0 Character Banners Leaked: New Units and Reruns Revealed

Genshin Impact is set to introduce a major update with Version 6.0, which is expected to bring a range of new content for players. Currently in the middle of Version 5.8, the final patch in the Natlan era, the game is preparing for the arrival of Nod-Krai. This upcoming version will introduce several Nod-Krai characters, some of whom will be playable right from the start, while others will be NPCs until they are adapted into future updates.

The release of Version 6.0 promises an array of new features, including additional story missions, new maps to explore, and more. Players can also look forward to a team composition update that should make planning ahead much easier.

Three New Characters Confirmed for Genshin Impact 6.0

HoYoverse has officially confirmed the inclusion of three new characters in Version 6.0. These characters—Lauma, Flins, and Aino—are the first units from the Nod-Krai region to be released in the game. They were announced through a series of drip marketing posts on the official Genshin Impact accounts on X and other social media platforms.

While Ineffa, another character from Nod-Krai, made her debut in Version 5.8, her release was tied to the Natlan storyline. Now, the focus shifts to these three new characters, who are expected to play significant roles in the upcoming patch.

Leaked Phase 1 Character Banners in Genshin Impact 6.0

According to the order in which the characters were shared by HoYoverse, it's likely that Lauma will be the featured 5-star character in the Phase 1 banners of Version 6.0. From leaked gameplay footage, it appears that Lauma will be a Dendro catalyst user, functioning as a main DPS. She scales off Elemental Mastery, focusing on dealing damage through Elemental Reactions. One unique aspect of her kit is the introduction of a new reaction variant called Lunar Bloom, which triggers similarly to Bloom but has the potential to land CRIT hits on enemies.

This is not the first time a Lunar reaction variant has been introduced. Ineffa previously triggered Lunar-Charged, a variant of Electro-Charged.

Aino, another new character, is expected to be a 4-star Hydro claymore unit. This makes her the first character to use this weapon type. As a Hydro sub-DPS, she will work somewhat like Xingqiu and Yelan, but she may also incorporate the rumored Moonsign mechanics.

Potential Rerun Characters in Phase 1 Banners

Based on the leaks, it seems that Yelan and Nahida are set to be rerun characters in the Phase 1 banners. Yelan, as a Hydro sub-DPS, could pair well with Lauma, whose Lunar-Bloom reactions would be constantly triggered in their team comp. However, it’s possible that Aino might be given to players for free, which could conflict with Yelan’s rerun.

Nahida, on the other hand, might be a better fit for the Phase 1 banners due to her ability to support Lauma and trigger Lunar-Bloom reactions. Their combination could also activate Dendro Resonance, increasing Elemental Mastery for both characters.

Leaked Phase 2 Character Banners in Genshin Impact 6.0

Flins, the second Nod-Krai 5-star character, is expected to debut in the Phase 2 banners. He is an Electro polearm user and operates as a main DPS in team comps. Like Ineffa, Flins enables the team to trigger Lunar-Charged reactions, which have a chance to land CRIT hits.

It is likely that Yelan will rerun alongside Flins, as her kit complements his Lunar-Charged specialty. While Flins and Nahida could trigger Aggravate, it wouldn’t synergize as well with his Lunar-Charged mechanic. Therefore, it seems more plausible that Lauma and Nahida will run in Phase 1, while Flins and Yelan run in Phase 2.

Additionally, the leak suggests that 4-star units such as Aino, Kaveh, Kuki Shinobu, Dori, and Sucrose will have increased drop rates during the patch, though the exact distribution among the banners remains unclear.
