Geodis, a leading logistics provider, is actively recruiting 375 seasonal workers in the Inland Empire to meet the demands of the upcoming holiday shopping season. The company is seeking temporary staff to work at its warehouses and distribution centers, with plans to hire a total of 4,600 seasonal employees across the region this year.

GMD Stores Opens First Brick-and-Mortar Store in Southern California

GMD Stores has signed a 10-year lease for 10,000 square feet at the Canyon Springs shopping center in Riverside, marking its first physical retail location in Southern California. The space was previously occupied by Famous Footwear. While limited information is available about GMD, its website suggests it offers a range of products similar to those found at online retailers like Temu or dollar stores, including housewares, decor, and makeup.

The shopping center is home to several well-known retailers, including Target, Five Below, PetSmart, Chick-fil-A, and McDonald’s. Steve Liu, a representative from NAI Capital, described the location as ideal for GMD due to its high-traffic corridor and proximity to national retailers. No official opening date has been announced yet.
