Exclusive: First Looks at Motorola Moto G Stylus 2026 and Moto Tag 2

First Look at the Motorola Moto G Stylus 2026
We’re excited to bring you exclusive content on the upcoming Motorola devices. This time, we have a triple feature covering the Motorola Moto G Stylus 2026, Moto Tag 2, and the Motorola Edge 70 Ultra. We’ve obtained images of both the Moto G Stylus 2026 and Moto Tag 2, along with some information about the Motorola Edge 70 Ultra.
Let’s start with the Moto G Stylus 2026. We have an image to share, as the previous leak was inaccurate. The phone that leaked was actually the Moto G Power 2026, which we had previously uncovered in May. Evan Blass confirmed the mix-up last month, so now we have the real deal.

As you can see, the phone is shown in two colors, with the stylus pen sitting next to it. While the official color names are not yet known, the left model appears to be lavender, while the right one looks like dark gray.
Motorola continues its design language, using eco leather on the back for better grip. This material has been used extensively by the company and is known for its durability. The logo is centered on the back, with three cameras in the top-left corner and an LED flash in the fourth cutout. The camera module protrudes slightly but is covered by the same eco leather, maintaining a uniform look.
Different backplate colors mean different frame colors. The left model has a distinct frame compared to the right. The power/lock and volume buttons are located on the right side, similar to last year’s model. There will be a stylus silo accessible from the bottom.
Expected Specifications
When it comes to specifications, very little is known. However, we can speculate based on past models. A 6.7-inch OLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate is expected, similar to last year’s model. A mid-range chip from Qualcomm or MediaTek is likely, possibly the Snapdragon 6 Gen 3 or a MediaTek equivalent.
The phone could launch with 8GB or 12GB of RAM and 128GB or 256GB of storage, with microSD expansion. A third camera is expected, potentially replacing the telephoto lens. A 5,000mAh battery with 68W wired charging and 15W wireless charging is anticipated. It will also be IP68 certified and come with Android 16.
The phone is expected to be affordable, with a price range of $399-$449. If it follows the predecessor’s timeline, it could launch in early Q2 2026.

First Image of the Motorola Moto Tag 2
The second exclusive is the Motorola Moto Tag 2, the next-gen smart tag. We have an image of the device, which is shown in two colors—beige and orange. While the official names may differ, this is the first visual of the product.

This is the second-gen Bluetooth tracker, expected to integrate with Google’s Find My Device network and support UWB. It will likely have IP67 certification. Improvements in button tactility and battery life are anticipated. The original Moto Tag was priced at $29.99, and the Moto Tag 2 is expected to follow a similar pricing strategy.
Motorola Edge 70 Ultra Supports a Stylus
The third exclusive is the Motorola Edge 70 Ultra, which will support a stylus. This is a major surprise, as the regular Edge 70 does not support one. The Ultra version is expected to include stylus support, though it’s unclear if a stylus will be included inside the phone.
While the Moto G Stylus series offers basic stylus features, the Edge 70 Ultra may offer similar functionality. However, it’s unlikely to include advanced features like pressure sensitivity or palm rejection. Despite this, it will be one of the few premium devices supporting a stylus.
