David Richardson, Vice President of AgentCore at AWS, stated that the combination of Visa Intelligent Commerce and Amazon Bedrock AgentCore simplifies fragmented systems, enabling agents to operate autonomously. Initial Use Cases and Strategic Partnerships

Initial use cases for this technology include the travel and retail sectors, with strategic partners such as Expedia Group, Intuit, and Eurostars Hotel Company already involved. Expedia, for instance, is developing the Travel Booking Agent, a system that combines specialized agents for flights, accommodation, and car rentals to offer comprehensive booking experiences. This demonstrates how AI can transform the online shopping experience, making it more efficient and user-friendly.
